It's a Girl!

After months and months of waiting, Adam and I finally got to meet our baby and it was a Girl!! Our precious Liliana Marie Smith was born at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC at 1:50pm on February 27, 2009. She weighed 5lbs, 3oz and was 17in long.

After a brief stay in the hospital for an infection, Liliana finally got to go home to a new house.

Once home Adam, Liz and Liliana experienced many firsts...

Adam also had the joy of celebrating his 28th birthday as a Daddy! We chose this special occasion to take Liliana out for the first time. We had dinner at Fatz Cafe and she slept the whole time!

Each day that passes we are cherishing. We realize she will only be this little once and we are trying to take every moment in. Here she is already holding her bottle at 11days old.
